EXTOL EBI 3.x - Copying rules between rulesets

8th April 2013

EXTOL 3.x will allow for copying rules between rulesets. Currently this does not exist in EBI 2.x.

This awesome functionality will allow for custom coding to traverse multiple unrelated rulesets. It will reduce development time when it comes to specific coding.

For example, when populating JD Edwards F47 tables, there are control and auditing fields. We can set-up a template in EXTOL Business Integrator to populate these fields, ie. EDOC, EDST, EDER, UPMJ, TDAY and etc. This template of EXTOL JDE rules can then be copied among the EBI JDE rulesets
