How to Envelope Data that has been Generated in EEI

In EXTOL EDI Integrator there are times that we generate outbound EDI x12/EDIFACT data. In certain times we want to take the generated data from a Generated state to an Enveloped state.

To move the data to an enveloped state, choose option #10 from the Mailroom.

From this screen, you can pick the selection criteria to choose which generated data you need to move to an enveloped status. In the example below, we are telling EXTOL to envelope data that is associated with the Trading Partner Code: TPCODE

Note: I normally update the parm “Stop on partial error option” to *NO.
