Learn how to Write EXTOL Exit Points
14th October 2014
EXTOL EDI Integrator (EEI) offers users the ability to incorporate RPG(LE) logic at the message class level. This means, for example, EXTOL has the ability to call an RPG program each time an inbound EDI document is received..
This is helpful in cases were we need to perform post-translation logic on a document-by-document basis.
We have created several posts to allow users to review sample exit points and see how they can be applied.
EXTOL Examples:
Sean Hoppe Consulting Group Examples:
- Using SQLRPGLE, copy VAI S2K 856 records to temporary tables
- Using RPGLE, update JDE F47012 detail lines
- Using RPGLE send email from EXTOL TPMC exit point
