DSPMSGREF - How to access EXTOL reference values
21st June 2012
In earlier posts we reviewed how to capture inbound EDI values and capture outbound EDI values.
These reference values are considered part of the EXTOL message logs. The data is considered part of EXTOL and is stored/maintained/archived/purged.
To access this data we can use the command: DSPMSGREF. Another way to access this data is by querying the EXTOL file: EXLLMPP. There are many, many logicals over this file. By performing the command: WRKOBJ *ALL/EXLLM* we can discover these logicals.
