Set-up Client Side Authentication in EXTOL Secure
15th October 2014
EXTOL Secure allows for client side authentication. Client authentication protects a server by ensuring it is communicating with a known client instead of from an unknown and potentially malicious entity.
Client authentication set-up is done in two steps in EXTOL Secure Exchange (ESX).
STEP ONE: Create (or import) private key to be used as Client SSL Cert. This cert can be the same one used for AS2 (S/MIME) encryption
STEP TWO: Set-up AS2 Partnership to apply Client SSL Certificate.
