EXTOL AS2 Secure - Importing .p7b files
18th July 2013
EXTOL Secure (ESX) users will find it difficult to import a certificate file with an extension of .p7b.
A .p7b suffix usually implies that the certificate chain is included file, not just the original certificate or .cer.
To get around this issue:
- Use Microsoft Windows to open the .p7b certificate file
- Once open, locate the original certificate (not the certificate authority) and open it within Microsoft
- Choose the “Details” Tab
- Click on the “Copy to File” Button
- Choose a place on your PC to place the certificate. Copyright 2013 @ www.seanhoppe.com
