JD Edwards - Setting up 856 Outbound Hierarchy Levels in E1

11th March 2013

If we are extracting outbound 856 data from the database tables: F47036/F370371, we need to distinguish the respective HL levels when EXTOL Business Integrator reads the records from the E1 tables.

Meaning, how do we help EXTOL discern between a Shipment record (F470371.HL03 = ’S’) versus an Item record (F470371.HL03 = ‘I’)?

Here is how we set-up an E1 database for the 856 HLs.

If you need assistance with implementing this logic in EXTOL Business Integrator, contact me.
