Debugging External File Lookup (EFL)

Sometimes debugging Cleo/EXTOL EFL issues and trying to determine why your record lookup is not occurring, can be frusterating.

By updating the type of EFL lookup we are performing, EXTOL can provide the actual source data, we using to go out to the EFL file

In your EXTOL Message Class, place a "2" on the "Application Files" and then change to External Lookup Type to an "R" . The next time you run your inbound/outbound data, the data EXTOL EEI is using will appear in the EXTOL application logs.
