In EXTOL’s April blog, under the EBI section there is a reference to using global variables. In the example they use the value ‘glb.var.Value01’.

In earlier versions of EXTOL EBI, ie. 2.2, I have found that the first character of the root variable, 'V’ always needs to be capitalized. When the value is not capitalized EBI does not pass the value between the ruleset and business process script.
