AS2 SSL Send error - Unable to Find Valid Certification Path
Scenario:
Extol Secure (ESX) partnership is set-up to send a secure sockets layer outbound AS2 transmission where URL contains 'https'
Issue:
EXTOL Secure server.log reports that transmission failed.
EXTOL Secure job log error message:
Connecting to xxxxx.com:443
Established connection(xxxxxxx.com:443
Failed to send HTTP request(sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target)
Closed connection
Session delivery failed; waiting specified interval of 3 minutes before re-attempting to deliver
Resolution:
Request SSL public cert from AS2 trading partner. This certificate will NOT be attached to the partnership however it needs to be imported into EXTOL Secure.
